This is a class for those who have completed Iyengar Ignite I and II, or have permission from the instructor. This is our most advanced class at Alcove Yoga. In the Intermediate level, the ability to practice Shoulder Stand, Head Stand, Hand Stand, and Elbow balance are assumed. Students must be familiar with names of asanas, common prop setups, and alternatives for menstruation, or be willing to learn these things. Drop-ins are allowed. Regular home practice is expected. This is not a class for pregnant students, beginners, or those new to Iyengar Yoga.
