Be One Yoga Studio
Kara’s passion is focused on how breath and the pelvic floor support healthy bodies and movement patterns. Her enchantment with motion and anatomy began with dance and extended to teaching Pilates, which eventually led to her working in the medical field. Kara turned to yoga to cope with stress. She left with so much more: a peace and a sense of calm that she had never known, as well as a physical challenge that was different from her previous forms of movement. She holds a 200-hour yoga certification through Yoga Medicine (2014) and a 300-hour yoga certification through Jason Crandell (2017). Complementing the yoga, she found great insight in using myofascial release techniques to assist with improved muscle function and activation. She continues to study under Jill Miller; Kara became a certified Yoga Tune Up Teacher in 2020, and teaches self-myofascial release using the Roll Model Method Kara draws on her experiences to create healthy movement that is accessible for all bodies. Combining love of movement and anatomical alignment for group and private classes, she hopes to spark and inspire curiosity, joy, and playfulness through her teaching while empowering her students to feel their best in their bodies through a personalized practice.
