Hailing from the Northeast, Amy Young has practiced yoga since her early 20s, starting a regular practice in 2009. In 2014, she completed Teaching Training (200 hour) and began leading classes. Since 2014, Amy enjoys teaching a wide variety of classes including Yin, Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Adaptive, and Pre-natal yoga. In 2020, she completed her 500 Hour Teacher Training. She is a certified IAYT and works with private clients. She aims to share the 8 limbs of yoga as a design for living. She works with groups of all abilities and her classes are light-hearted and effective with consistent postures and flow. Amy believes a daily practice of yoga keeps her mind, body and spirit balanced. What she does in the room gives her balance to take life’s challenges head on and is a reminder, no matter what, just breathe.
