Omni Yoga Studio & Academy

Jasmine Wright embarked on her yoga journey in 2014  while studying Dance at the University of Washington, where Ashtanga Yoga was apart of the curriculum. This practice helped heal a hamstring injury, solidifying her belief in yoga's restorative benefits. In 2019, she left her performing arts career and decided to pursue law enforcement, becoming an officer with the city of Lakewood. Her path to becoming a yoga teacher began during the 2020 pandemic. After deciding that law enforcement was not for her, she made the difficult decision to resign. Shortly after, she became a mother, while completing her teacher training online with Crystal Gray Yoga, appreciating the inclusive and healing approach emphasized by her instructor.Jasmine's  background in the performing arts (with a BA in Dance and a Minor in Music) juxtaposed with her brief time as a police officer is what deeply informs her yoga teaching. She specializes in Slow-flow Vinyasa,  focusing on building heat with slow strength and allowing time to truly arrive in each posture. Jasmine’s students can expect a comfortable and trustworthy environment, with opportunities for both challenge and modification guided by her calm and adaptive presence. She is honored to be a new addition to Omni Yoga.
