Business owner  and Instructor Stephanie Costa has been dancing for over thirty years and is a classically trained ballerina. She began her dance career at the Conservatory for Dance in Syracuse, N.Y. In Syracuse, performed in the Moscow ballet’s production of the Nutcracker. Stephanie attended Coupé Theatre Studio in Rockland County, NY where she studied ballet, pointe,tap, jazz and hip-hop. She has studied ballet, jazz, tap and musical theatre at Broadway Dance Center in NYC and been featured in Helen Hayes musical productions and videos. She has also studied Latin and Ballroom dance and performed as a salsa dancer in 2007. She regularly attends masterclasses at Broadway Dance Center. She currently teaches classical ballet, adult tap and Bellydance Fitness at Dance Central Performing Arts of Pearl River, NY where she has been an instructor for over 11 years. Stephanie has been a certified Zumba® instructor for 3 ½ years and has taught Zumba® at several different gyms and studios in Rockland County NY and Bergen County NJ. She has taught several different types of Zumba® fitness classes and Group X fitness classes at Retro Pearl River, Retro Tappan, Retro Tenafly, Dance Central and Vision Sports Club. These classes include Zumba® fitness, Zumba® Toning, Barre, Abs Express, Bellydance Fitness and Virtual Zumba® classes. She has also taught Zumba® Kids and Kids Jr. HerStephanie’s Zumba licenses and trainings include Zumba® Basic 1, Rhythms 2, Rhythms 3, Pro Skills,Virtual Pro, Zumba ® Toning,  Zumba ® Step, and  Zumba® Kids and Kids Jr. She has also choreographed musical productions including Dear Edwina and Cinderella, Nice Work if you Can Get It, All Shook Up, Anything Goes, Beauty and the Beast, Newsies, Descendants, and Footloose for Clarkstown South High School. She regularly attends specialty Zumba® Jams learning new choreography and rhythms for her classes. She has been an attendee at the 2022 ZINCON Convention in Orlando, Florida.
