Jenn's Pilates class was recommended to me by my massage therapist, Julia Keller to help improve my core strength in order to ease back pain. I'll admit, it was a bit tough, but I haven't exercised in a while and Jenn said I did well (I was surprised!). I actually signed up for a private class with Jenn to really drill down on the areas I need improvement and to fine tune my posture and poses.
Maria’s intuitive and creative skills inform her teaching. Her teaching focuses on staying present, feeling what arises during the practice, while she guides students to move in a way that reduces pain and move organically deeper into a pose. She loves to facilitate a student’s own journey in discovering what yoga can do for them. Her classes blend the strengthening core work of Forrest Yoga with a fun and rigorous sequence.
