Brian was very helpful and encouraging during my workout. 11/10 would die doing planks and pull ups again.
Hi, my name is Brian Sipotz, founder and head coach at Advantage Strength. I'm a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Miami University in 2004. While at Miami, I played four years of NCAA hockey and was drafted by the NHL’s Atlanta Thrashers in 2001. I played seven years of professional hockey, six of those with the Thrashers AHL affiliate, the Chicago Wolves. In addition to running Advantage Strength, I also help with the coaching duties for Saline High School Hockey, coach privately for Hockey Masters, and coach at a summer-long youth development camp called Hockey University.
I used my experience and extensive training background to open Advantage Strength and Conditioning with the intention of improving athletes in both the physical and mental aspects of sport. I have experienced athletics at an elite level, and I strive to help others achieve their athletic goals as well.
I am also fortunate to be co-owner of www.hockeystrengthandconditioning.com, and host of the Hockey Strength Podcast. It has been a pleasure to associate with the top hockey strength and conditioning coaches in the NCAA, NHL, and private facilities throgh these resources, and it definitely keeps me at the top of my game.
At the end of the day, I go home to my amazing family, my wife Kelly, son Cole and daughter, Cooper.
