I took my first class with Rachel and had SO much fun! It was challenging but rewarding, and Rachel was so kind and made sure that I was doing everything correctly. I love the welcoming and wacky vibes of Bat City, and I'll definitely be taking more classes!
Maya was a competitive gymnast for 6 years and has continuously
retained her ability to balance, walk, and trick on her hands
throughout her adult life.
She returned to her love of acrobatics in February of 2022 where
enjoys uses her gymnastics experience to execute dynamic movements,
aerial tumbling, and an odd entrance or two onto the apparatuses -
her first student showcase featured a handstand balancing entrance
into the trapeze!
Maya combines her extensive teaching experience from both sports
and the corporate world (she promises not to give you spreadsheets)
with her gymnastics experience to help turn students' worlds
upside-down.
