The gym was very clean and had a variety of equipment. I wasn't expecting much from the Crossfit side of the gym when I saw it from the outside, but there is a whole second gym underground in the spacious basement. The equipment was of mixed varieties. In addition to the usual CF equipment, there were monkey bars, a rock climbing wall, and different kinds of ropes. The teacher was very friendly, as were the other members and staff. We had a good sweat and good time on a Friday afternoon. It's probably not the most rigorous Crossfit if you are someone who is very competitive, but you can always find ways to scale WODS to your preference. For someone who is trying to get back into a fitness grove or seeks a moderate workout as part of a balanced active life, it offers that nice balance that still will push you a bit. Overall, I recommend it to anyone to at least give it a try.

This gym is addictive! I started doing the Crossfit-style classes 18 months ago and now I am arranging my schedule to make sure I make it in at least 3 times a week. I really like that Phil, the owner and trainer, is really careful about form. He reviews the movements and keeps his eye on all of us as we do them. He strikes a great balance of pushing us and offering modifications. The members are all friendly and I look forward to seeing them each class.

With style and determination, Renaldo puts us through hell to make us fit and strong. You know it’s a great workout when your 15 year old who’s weight training says “…it’s hard, Mom, you do this every week?” Love Renaldo and love our bootcamp posse too. Great class, great coach, great results.

This gym is a neighborhood gem. It is small but it's got everything you need. And it is CLEAN...an adjective I never use to describe a fitness facility. I took a drop in Bootcamp class and Renaldo kicked my a** with a smile. The class was small enough to pay attention to everyone and he adjusted the workout per everyone's strength and needs/injuries. I take a cardio or weighted resistance Pilates class 5 days a week at a boutique studio. The workouts are great, but I feel I need more of a heavy lifting and cardio challenge. I think I just found it. I will be back.
