“Fitness is so much more than simply 'exercise.' Your body is
the foundation on which everything is built. If you protect,
nurture, and strengthen that foundation, you will be able to,
physically and mentally, take advantage of many opportunities
without having any deficiencies in your health or wellness hovering
over your head. Fitness is a tool to keep you moving, mobile, and
feeling young. It is a gateway into becoming the best version of
yourself, and can open doors into a lifestyle you may have never
believed was attainable. And the best part is that many times, it's
fun. It's FUN to see what you are capable of achieving if you just
try. And I'll be there to help guide you, push you, and root for
you.”
Jessica's fitness-affair began more than ten years ago. What
started with maybe two minutes of abdominal work in the morning
morphed into an irrepressible urge to see how far she could push
and challenge herself and come out all the stronger and better for
it. Her love of fitness quickly became of love of being healthy and
doing whatever necessary to be the best version of herself she
could be. She became to the go-to person for her friends for advice
and it was then that she realized that her love of fitness wasn't
simply a hobby. Her experience, with some education, could really
help people.
After about a year of contemplation, she took the plunge and
signed up for a certification as a personal trainer in mid-2014,
wherein she found herself interning at C-FIT Studio at the start of
2015. To put it extremely simply, she hasn't looked back since, and
has found some amazing like-minded folks at C-FIT, including both
staff, members, and clients alike.
Jessica's style involves correcting muscle imbalances while
challenging you to try new things and having fun. She loves working
with people and truly cares about you being successful in your
goals, be them strength-related, conditioning, or simply
functional. She'll get you working, sweating, and growing stronger,
with the aim to make it easier to take advantage of all
opportunities life has to offer.
Jessica is a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer and received her
certification as a Corrective Exercise Specialist in June
2016.
