I'm not sure I've ever been more thankful to do a Design Fitness Online workout than I was this morning.  Working out Design Fitness style has been a part of my life for a decade now.  I regularly partake in weight, yogilates, and Zumba classes.  As a result my body is in pretty good shape and keeps me from getting injured doing every day tasks.  That being said...I'm not immune.  On Wednesday night I overworked a muscle.  At first the warning signs came on subtly...just a minor ache.  On Thursday I could tell that I had done too much and my body needed to rest so I took a day off of classes (Terry always advises us to meet your body where it's at).  As the day progressed I was starting to feel a stabbing pain in my back while I was breathing and I was unable to rotate my upper body to the left.  The pain became progressively worse and woke me up at 3 am.  I couldn't find a way to get comfortable and breathing was painful.  Having taken a decade of yogilates I was well-versed in what was likely ailing my body.  Terry always throws in all kinds of fun biomechanic and physiology information in all of our classes and I love learning about my body that way!  I was happy when I was able to get into my chiropractor's office late Friday afternoon.  She confirmed my suspicion.  I had overworked my erector spinae muscle and had a very tight spot in it.  The biggest problem with this is that it had pulled my ribcage all out of alignment...thus the pain when breathing.  She adjusted my ribs on all sides and by the time I left the office the pain was definitely reduced.  I had been warned that it might take a few days to feel better and I might need to book a second appointment.  That was late on Friday afternoon and on Saturday morning I was back doing what I love doing...my morning online strength class with Terry!!  All that hard work, all those classes I've done over the years allowed my body to heal super quick!  I would say that I'm about 98% at the 24 hour mark and I couldn't be happier!  I'm confident that the yogilates classes will allow me to restore full range of motion in spine rotation.

Thank you Terry for all that you do.  You helped get me back up on my feet in record time and for that I am truly grateful! Five stars all the way!

Great first Weight Plus (Circuit) Class! Nice space, ample parking and equipment plus personalized instruction.
