Love the Pilates Mat & Barre with Laura.  She is so knowledgeable and precise with her instruction.  She makes me realize how much more powerful the moves can be when done as she describes.  Plan on attending all the classes she offers.  Thanks so much!

Melissa
Melissa is a Boston native and former professional ballet dancer with over a decade of experience in the wellness field with the focus of helping people get healthy. She received her Pilates training through Balanced Body University, her Bachelor’s Degree in Dance from Mercyhurst University as well as her Master’s Degree in Public Health through Umass Amherst.
Her education and personal life experiences have equipped her with extensive knowledge in fitness, nutrition, lifestyle management and preventative health. Melissa has extensive experience working with clients of all fitness levels helping them create the best version of themselves. Melissa believes in an approach to fitness that is customizable to meet each clients individual needs. She meets her clients where they are and helps them not only reach their goals but sustain them. She takes a personalized approach with each client she works with making her stand out in the crowd of wellness professionals.
Melissa is also a certified Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, a NASM certified Personal Trainer, a Yoga Fit Certified Yoga Instructor and Certified Barre instructor. Her classes are energetic and focused on form and safety first but above all they’re FUN!
Outside of work Melissa enjoys being outside doing any and all outdoor activities, cooking, traveling, spending quality time with family and friends and refurbishing old furniture into a work of art!
