I heard about Pat and his holistic approach from a friend and at that point I was in chronic pain. I wasn't able to do anything and since fitness was my passion in the past I really wanted to get back to where I used to be. His holistic approach was completely new to me and I was amazed after each visit. His way to explain things and the language he is using was something I never would have thought I will understand. Amazingly I started to understand and that was a big eyeopener. I all of the sudden had tools to deal with daily life and also my pain. After about a year I was taken to the gym. To work out was something I became anxious about. His great knowledge about fitness shone here too. I became more mobile and less and less pain !!! I became a happier person !!!
My husband see's him too and also became a happier person and what else can I say, life is good :) We still see him and sometimes we see him together which is always a great reminder to appreciate what we have and even what we don't have. I cannot recommend him enough. The facility is an amazing place with a lot of equipment. The atmosphere is fantastic. I am very very grateful that I had the honour to meet Pat. Thank you.
Since childhood I have been physically active, joining all the
sports activities and teams in school that I could. From track,
badminton, volleyball, basketball and even floor hockey I got
involved in everything. My true passion and love for animals and
horses was limited to a few camps in the summer but whenever given
the opportunity, I would ride. A car accident as a young teenager
put me off track for some time while I struggled daily with severe
lower back pain. Trying alternative means to heal with massage,
chiropractors as well as joining fitness clubs and classes without
proper instruction failed and so I was left surrendering to my
pain. In the late 90s I discovered the benefits of strength
training and there was no turning back. I found that the stronger I
got and the more consistent I could keep up my workouts, the better
I felt. It was during this time that my husband and I started
Cross-Trainers Health and Fitness Club and I began my new career as
business owner and shortly after fitness instructor. I found a
passion in helping others discover the benefits of physical
activity and strength training. I became involved in instructing
daily group exercise classes, forming a running group and regular
active strength workouts. Exercising has provided me with so many
positive benefits physically, mentally and emotionally.
