Sometimes I just feel “off”. My body tenses up and it doesn't function at it's best. Pilates is a wonderful way for me to strengthen core, remind my joints and muscle to flex and perform full range, and notice my breath. Grateful to have this weekly class to support my overall health.
Carolina is the studio Owner. She started her career as a classical Ballet dancer but it was in Modern Dance that she found her true passion. She moved to London, England to study Modern dance and choreography at Laban Centre. While in England, Carolina sustained recurring injuries in her back and left knee. It was through practicing Pilates that she understood the connection between body/mind, learned about her own faulty patterns of movement and not only recovered but continued her career as a dancer successfully. Carolina obtained her first certification as a Pilates instructor from Body Control Pilates in the UK, her second with Balanced Body University and her third from McEntire Pilates in the US. In the past eight years Carolina has completed Neuro based suspension Training courses with BioCored and has studied neurology of movement with Z-Health, completing the Essentials, R-Phase and I-Phase courses. She is married to Jason Logan and together with their four kids, they live in the city of Grand Rapids.
