My body is stronger, my energy level is higher, and my general outlook is significantly better. I particularly enjoy the people (other members and the staff). It makes each class feel like a fun healthy get together with friends. The staff is extremely well trained which I appreciate, and the small class format means that their eyes are on you ensuring you are doing the moves correctly.
Emma has been teaching Pilates for over 13 years. In 2010 she moved to Kingston and began teaching at Momentum Pilates with Peggy. Her experience includes teaching in a Community Centre and Yoga studio in Toronto, and at various locations in Kingston. She is Mat and Reformer certified through Pilates For life/Movement for health, and Balanced Body and is a certified Movement Specialist through Body Harmonics in Toronto. Emma continues her Pilates education and is a member of CanFitPro. She has expanded her knowledge and skills through training, lectures and workshops on Postural Analysis, Functional Anatomy, Prenatal and Special Populations, Neurobiology of the Spine, Running Mechanics and Feet Fundamentals in Pilates, along with several specialized courses including Weight Loss Boost for Pilates. Emma looks forward to sharing knowledge with clients to help them achieve their Pilates goals. Her goal as a teacher is to ensure that each participant will leave her class with a smile on their face and feel longer, leaner, and more balanced.
