Love the instructors and the community atmosphere at inspired. I can’t wait to return to the reformer!
Personal Practice: I went to my first yoga class when I was a student Naturopath and looking for a bit of stress reduction - back in 1992! Having had many years dance training as a child/teen I immediately loved the sense of moving my body again!
I have had an 'on again off again' relationship with my own personal practice which got re-ignited in 2018 when I studied Kundalini Yoga with a commitment to a regular morning practice which includes movement, breath and meditation.
Teaching Since: 1997, full time since 2009
About Me: Yoga for me is a true love! Its right up there with my dog, coffee and of course my husband and kids! (Not in any particular order) I am constantly fascinated by the human body and what it can achieve. The ultimate in this for me is pregnancy and birth!
About My Classes: Whatever class style I teach I believe its important to move your body and connect with how it feels, also to breath, I often include various breathing practices and to stop and connect in the form of meditation. The intensity of these practices will vary depending on the class focus. One of my greatest passions is teaching pregnancy yoga. This time presents an amazing opportunity to really connect deeply with yourself and the little being growing inside you. Its a time you can have a profound effect on your unborn child and on your upcoming birth and birthing experience. In my classes you will spend time working on strengthening your body in preparation for your growing baby and the demands that places on your body, and also preparing for labour physically, mentally and emotionally!
