Beginner Salsa is a structured, progressive class for those who have never received formal salsa instruction. You will learn to hear and feel the music before you even take your first steps. This will help you develop timing to ensure that your first steps are on beat.

This class also serves as an introduction to musicality since you will learn how the dance relates to the tumbao (rhythm) of the conga.

We will be focusing on just basic footwork, also known as “shines” in salsa, until further notice
