Many of us experience anxiety and struggle with how to mange it. Mindfulness practices are extremely helpful in meeting our unique expressions of anxiety. Some of the many benefits of these practices will be taught and are those that you will leave with an ability to integrate in your daily life. Some examples are redefining our response to anxiety, helping us learn for these experiences, and building awareness of our embodiment practices. our intelligent nervous systems, to support and build trust in our capacity to meet anxiety

Facilitator: Donna Chisholm is a Mindfulness/Meditation and Self-Compassion (MSC) teacher, an Authentic Relating Facilitator, Yoga Teacher, Physical Therapist with specialty in Neurological and Geriatric Medicine, and Relational Coach in private practice. Connectedcoachinghsp.com.
Donna is thrilled to offer MSC classes to our Yoga Community. She is passionate in helping partner with her students in befriending their minds, leading to improved health, vitality, and optimal relationship with self and others.
Donna’s style of teaching is met with deep compassion, presence, and inclusion with a blend of lightness and playfulness expressed through her down to earth, grounded personality.
When not teaching, you will find Donna and her Black lab mix rescue dog, exploring the countless trails, lakes and mountains of central Oregon, enjoying time with her college age son, attending the U of O, (Go Ducks) and spending as much time as possible with her friends and family that she loves dearly.
