Join Heather Furtney for a 75-minute class devoted entirely to the hips. This thoughtfully designed session blends playfulness and creativity with an intelligent, well-sequenced approach, incorporating mobility through all natural ranges of motion of the hip joint. Together, we will explore areas of strength imbalance, release deeply held tension, and cultivate greater ease and stability in this vital region of the body.
The class will include myofascial work, a combination of static and dynamic movements, and longer-held passive poses. The first half of the class is more active—designed to warm the body, increase mobility and strength, and perhaps even break a light sweat. The second half slows down, allowing time to settle into restorative postures that support deep muscular release and relaxation.

Special Instructions
Investment: $25 ($18 for BYC Karma Students)
PLEASE NOTE: Registration is a 2-part process. Once the event purchase is complete, each individual needs to also register for the class. If one individual purchases 2+ tickets, the additional tickets will need to be transferred to the accounts of the other individual(s) who will be attending, and they will then need to register.
