Unwind and Feel: A Fascia-Focused Yin Experience
This fun experiential 4 hour workshop is open to all levels of student and instructor, from the novice to the experienced yogi and for people receiving or interested in myofascial release.
Through lecture, yoga practice, discussion and more, you will be taken on a personal journey of discovery about fascia, why it's important to your body and your health and how it relates to yoga. Our students often come away from this workshop feeling refreshed and revitalized with greater freedom in their bodies. Designed as a multi-dimensional introduction to fascial-yin yoga.
Like a mini-retreat! Come and join us and a community of like-minded people as we experience the power of fascial-yin yoga together in a safe and effective way.
Through this 4 hours together with Barb Leese and Christine Grant, experts in yoga and myofascial release, you will receive:
• An understanding of fascia in the body and why its so important to our health and well being
• Feeling fascia in your own body and others
• A clear understanding of the most effective and safe way to treat your fascia using simple guiding principles
• Experiencing a guided practice of yin yoga through the fascial lens
