Calling all basic liches, village witches and creatures full of stitches!  It’s time to get your spooky on in an afternoon of roller derby scrimmages with Bay Area Derby! 

We’ll be hosting a round robin-style scrimmage tournament with three Halloween-themed teams:

Creeptastic Creatures (green)
Jumpin’ Jack-o-Lanterns (orange)
Ghoulish Ghosts (white)

==Scrimmage Details==

This is a mixed level scrimmage, but you must be an active member of a roller derby league, 18 years or older, and cleared for contact/scrimmage. Teams will be sorted once registration has closed on October 13 and/or we have reached the maximum number of 16 skaters per team.

Bay Area Derby skaters will be your bench coaches for the afternoon—so no need to worry about helmet covers or support staff. Dressing in theme is encouraged (but not required) and there will be awards for the best costume!\

Registration ends October 13 to give BAD staff enough time to form teams.

We will email you by October 14 to let you know what team you’re on so you can get your shirts and costumes ready!

1:00 - 1:30: Check-in

1:30 - 1:45: Warm up/open track time for all

1:45 - 2:30: Game 1: Ghoulish Ghosts v. Jumpin’ Jack-O-Lanterns (20 minute halves)

2:30 - 2:45: 15 Min. Break

2:45 - 3:30: G2: Creeptastic Creatures v. Ghoulish Ghosts (20 minute halves)

3:30 - 3:45: 15 Min. Break

3:45 - 4:30: G3: Creeptastic Creatures v. Jumpin’ Jack-o-Lanterns (20 minute halves)

4:30 - 4:45: 15 Min. Break

4:45 - 5:30: Championship game (2 teams with the best records)

5:30 - 5:45pm: Awards, Costume contest winner, Group picture

5:45 - 6:00pm: Clean-up and goodbyes!
