Come build your toolbox to power your immune system and finish the rest of winter strong! We will be discussing immune health: how we can eat functional foods and balance our body with nutrients to support the functionality of the immune system. We will learn how to make elderberry syrup, fire cider, and an immune tea that uses mostly ingredients you have lying around in your own home! You will be leaving the workshop with the recipes, elderberry syrup, and fire cider as tools to keep you healthy through the rest of winter and changing seasons.
Jennifer McCalib, from Rocky Mountain Nutritionist, has a Masters in integrative and functional nutrition. She has worked in the community educating the public on diet and healthy living principles.
