Yoga is not just about being flexible. This class series blends
yoga postures with bodyweight exercises and intervals. Improve your
muscular endurance, range of motion, and create lean muscle with
this fusion style practice. Each class will include elements of
vinyasa flow and strength drills for a full body workout.
Why do Strength-Based Yoga? Research suggests high output, bodyweight exercises increase fitness gains in relatively short amount of time. These functional movements demand greater mobility and coordination than what you typically see in the gym.
Kelley Bauer will lead you through a combination of vinyasa flow
and strength drills for a full body workout. Kelley's unique
background as an RYT and Group Exercise Instructor combines the
most effective strength elements from both disciplines.
You will receive a new list of drills each class to practice at home between sessions. Some previous yoga and/or fitness experience recommended.
