Be foundational is a beginners workshop aimed at learning the basics of yoga so that you will feel comfortable in any studio setting. We will cover standard yoga poses and work up to the knowledge needed to take any class at our studio. In addition to the yoga poses we will shortly cover the history of yoga, specific things to expect in our studio, and other aspects of yoga. Yoga is known to strengthen your body and reduce stress and anxiety. The benefits of yoga will spill into your every day life as you will feel more confident and less stressed during your day to day routine. This workshop includes one month of unlimited yoga after attending the foundational workshop giving you the opportunity to begin your regular yoga practice! Our studio is known for its supportive community and teachers that will help you stay committed to your goals and intentions.
Here is what you can expect:
You will learn the basic principles and practices of yoga such as structured breathing techniques and proper alignment through modifications, all by engaging in a hands-on workshop. We will also explore mindfulness tools for you to use on and off the mat. No experience necessary, come as you are and bring a friend!
Be prepared to move, laugh, breath and discover a truer version of yourself! We have everything you need at the studio, just come as you are.
you will need to bring a pen and notebook, water, and wear comfortable clothes you can move in. If you have a yoga mat great if not we have one you can borrow.
