Yin Yoga is a slow mindful practice that opens up the energy channels and calms the mind while stepping up the body's natural processes and improving overall health.   Practicing surrender in Yin can aid in learning how to relinquish control and release stress and anxiety.  And the physical benefits of the deep stretches help increase range of motion and flexibility, lengthening and strengthening muscles, improving balance and move lymph through the body.   

Uncertainty in the future and unanswered questions in our world don’t have to equal fear and anxiety, which can lead to poor physical health, opening ourselves up to the very thing we might fear the most.  Our bodies and their intricate systems are so intimately connected to the mind and the spirit.
