Description
Join Calli for a two hour workshop focused on being more
present with a beautiful blend of pranayama, asana and
meditation.
Harness the power of mindfulness and experience absolute
presence, awaken the senses to evoke clarity and inner peace.
Part one: centre the mind and body with nurturing mantra
practice exploring the vibration and healing quality of AUM. Deepen
the breathing with three-part breath (Yogic breathing) to nourish
the respiratory system and release tension from the
diaphragm.
Part two: open the body and focus the mind with mindful
movement in a Hatha yoga sequence incorporating balance, stability
and twists.
Part three: encourage stillness and relieve stress with
gentle, restorative yoga poses using props to support the body in
forward folds, hip openers and chest openers.
Part four: quieten the busy mind and settle the 'chatter' in a
deeply relaxing guided meditation.
