Core Engagement Basics is a 21-day daily movement program designed to help you ignite, activate, and strengthen your core from the inside out. Using a mix of yoga shapes and alignment, personal training tools, and physical therapist-approved methods of strengthening deep core tissue, we’ll teach you how to use muscle activation to make even the simplest yoga shapes a fierce core-strengthening move. 

Whether you’re looking to strengthen your core, get stronger, and smarter about mobility and movement, this program will teach you how to use subtle muscle activation in a way you’ve never learned before. And with regular practice, using these alignments, you will build a stronger core, address, and possibly eliminate chronic low back pain, and even repair core separation / Diastasis Recti. 

This program is accessible to people of all ages. 

What to expect
This is a self-paced program that starts slow and builds into dynamic, strength building, and accesible movement practices. 
 
As part of this program, you will receive:
+ Daily emails for 21-days
+ Additional coaching on what to expect, what you might be experiencing, how to find the right props, etc.
+ 15, 30, and 45-minute movement classes
+ Pose breakdowns: learn how to do the foundations of a pose
+ Foundations of core activation: how to engage your core in any shape, and how to use your core to stabilize, strengthen, and grow
 
 
Program Outline
Week 1: Core Engagement Basics | 15-minute practices to introduce you to the shapes, build foundations, and begin to develop core strength and core activation with awareness. 
 
Week 2: Developing Integrity in Practice | 30-minute, slow paced classes focused on building foundations with structural integrity. This week incorporates additional movements into each class to keep practice going. 
 
Week 3: Dynamic Strength | 45-minute, cumulative slow flow-based yoga classes that build off previous classes, with the same strength and integrity, and more intensity. 
 
 
You'll learn how to activate your core in the following shapes:
+ Tabletop
+ Plank
+ Downward Dog
+ Runner's Lunge
+ Bridge Pose
+ Yoga Transitions

+ Daily practice videos for each shape
+ Introduction to activating core in yoga
+ Moving with care: how to move using ergonomics to protect the core
+ Basic core activation
