Ages 7-10

This camp is for kids ages 7-10 looking to get started on one of the most popular and portable instruments, the guitar! Students with no prior experience can learn to read, play, and imitate simple rhythms along with the guitar string names and fretboard layout so they can start playing songs as soon as possible! Campers will play simple melodies, popular guitar “riffs” and chords using our fun, intuitive exercises and book materials. They’ll develop finger dexterity through warm-ups that require the use of multiple fingers. We’ll also practice improvisation or “jamming” as a group and set them up to do so on their own!

To ensure that everyone enjoys their time at camp we ask that all children wear socks. Snacks are not provided, so please make sure to pack a water bottle and a snack. Camp starts at 1pm and ends at 4pm. Options for early drop off and late pickup are available for $10 per day, per option.
