Learn to teach Kids, Teens and Family Yoga. 

 

This 50 hour course will teach you to explore yoga in a fun, creative and exciting way that will engage your young students. Opening them up to the world of yoga from a young age! What an amazing gift to be able to share with the world. 

 

What you will learn

 

In this fun an interactive teacher training you will learn; age appropriate techniques to teach yoga to children, tweens, teens and families. How to create and inclusive and fun learning atmosphere. How to harness the skills and special talents you already have to create your own unique and exciting classes.

 

You will come out of the training with an extensive collection of kids yoga games, postures, activities, pranayama and meditation techniques. You will learn how to structure a successful kids yoga class. You will learn how to look at props creatively and use them for endless activities. You will spend time contemplating ethics around teaching kids yoga and the benefits of kids yoga.

 

Meet your teacher ‍ 

 

This course is created by and led by yogi, school teacher and mother, Katie Penley. Katie originally learnt kids yoga with the intention to bring more yoga and mindfulness into the conventional classroom setting. However her world was turned upside down when she knew before lunch time on her first day of training that she was going to focus her career on kids yoga. Kids yoga opens up a whole world of creativity and exploration. It helps young people to develop introspection, self inquiry, self-love and body awareness. It can help create life long positive skills and coping mechanisms. Imagine a world where all children learnt yoga and meditation, you can help bring this world to fruition!

Are you ready to open up to world of creativity, possibility and fun that is kids yoga? This course is for anyone who loves children and yoga and is keen to share these gifts.

 

It’s for yoga teachers who want to expand their teaching,  professionals who work with children in any capacity and those with families who are looking for healthy new ways to play and engage together.

Please arrange to arrive at the training venue by 15min prior to start time.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

For cancellations more than 6 weeks prior course commencement, all fees will be refunded less the $100 non-refundable deposit.
For cancellations within 4 weeks of commencement date, a 50% cancellation fee applies.
For cancellations within 2 weeks of commencement date, no refund will be given.

 This 50hr Module will / can go towards One Family Yoga & Fitness 350hr/500hr Certification. It will attract CPD's with Yoga Alliance Australia, Yoga Alliance.

In case of a Pandemic no refund will be given but course is transferable for a credit to use in future trainings.
