Description
Intention: To cultivate and practice compassionate,intuitive relationships with our bodies. To clarify our changing and evolving needs during cycles of change.
Setting: Dim lighting, electric candles (I will provide of course), yoga mats, blankets/blocks/bolsters.
90 min Including:

Guided journaling for self-reflection and intention setting (no shares/discussion, this is purely for personal reflection and processing)

Sound bath to conclude and aftercare
In this workshop, we move through a sensual adaptation of Chandra Namaskar, Lunar Salutations. Together we ground into the space with vagus nerve toning breathwork and vocalization. As a meditation on lunar and bodily cycles, we will flow through slow & gentle movement, with individual choice of depth. The primary focus of the practice is to foster meditative focus upon qualities of movement and internal experience. The secondary focus of practice is upon deepening flexibility.
Moonscrying was created from my blended education in yoga and bodywork, along with my personal practices of trauma recovery influenced by: yogic philosophy, eclectic mysticism, mind-body nerdiness and Jungian concepts of shadow integration/self actualization.
This modality is best for people seeking to balance their stress response, calm the nervous system, and prioritize time for gentle self care inspired by lunar wisdom.

Adaptations for mobility limitations are available including chair/seated

I do not provide hands-on adjustments unless explicitly requested by a student and its relevant to our practice

Students are encouraged to bring any extra yoga blocks, blankets or bolsters they enjoy. I will bring some limited items to share.
