JM Vinyasa is a challenging class with vinyasa and hatha sequences taught by senior Lighthouse teachers. This class blends many styles of yoga such as Ashtanga, Bikram, Iyengar, Forrest, and Dharma yoga. The practice aims to bridge gaps in yoga traditions, allowing practitioners to learn from all styles and not just one. Every class includes pranayama, standing postures, hip openers, backbends, forward bends, twists, and inversions. Most classes include chanting, kriyas, or meditation.
Intermediate classes give students the opportunity to practice more challenging poses and further develop their strength and flexibility. While this class may seem difficult at first, we understand that the only way to grow is to try. Show up with an open mind and ready to work— progress is inevitable! Students are encouraged to feel comfortable with the Open Level class before joining.
