Vinyasa is practiced in the hot room and is a flowing and dynamic yoga practice that helps cultivate presence by connecting the movement with your breath.
Each teacher will bring a unique style and grace to their class, creating a fun and energizing atmosphere. The teacher will create a class that builds stamina, increases strength and establishes flexibility with a constant emphasis on the core area of the body while reducing stress and increasing vitality. It includes a centering at the beginning and a cool down at the end, encouraging students to stay in savasana to allow the body to rest and absorb all the hard work and dedication before heading back into your day.
It is recommended that you try a hatha/hatha flow or slow flow class before coming into a vinyasa practice, if you are unsure about the heat it is recommended to try a hot yin or one of the reduced heat classes prior to make sure the heat agrees with you.
