The Songwriting Music Camp is a fun week-long camp that teaches students the fundamentals of writing a song
Camp will cover songwriting basics (standard pop form, rhyme scheme, writing styles (co-writing, solo writing, etc.) and the focus will be writing one group song.
Previous musical experience is not a requirement for the Songwriting Music Camp.

What is the tuition for the camps?

All camps are $250 for one week

Receive a $25 discount per camp for each additional camp a student registers for.

Current GMG Students receive a discount of $25 off any camp.

Deposit of $100 per camp to hold your camp week(s). No refunds on deposits.
What is your summer camp refund policy?

Our refund policy allows us to reliably staff our summer music programs with our amazing instructors for our campers. Refund requests must be made in writing and emailed to info@gmgacademyofthearts.com. Voicemail messages or in-person conversations cannot be considered as an official request.

All week long camp enrollment fees include a $100.00 non-refundable deposit. If the Participant’s enrollment is canceled prior to four (4) weeks of the camp in question’s start date, a refund of the enrollment fee, minus the $100.00 non-refundable deposit and minus the processing fee (the amount of which will vary), will be issued. If the Participant’s enrollment is canceled within four (4) weeks of the start date of the camp in question, no refund will be issued.

If you wish to transfer your Participant’s camp week to another week, approval by the Directors of GMG of such transfer will be determined on a case-by-case basis and per the availability. GMG Academy of the Arts cannot guarantee that a transfer is possible.
When do the music camps meet?

All of our music camps meet Monday – Friday throughout the summer.

Students may sign up for multiple camps with an added discount.

You do not need to sign up for consecutive weeks for the tuition discounts.
What are the camp hours?

Drop off time for all camps is between 10am and 10:15am.

Parents: You must sign your child in before leaving the music school for students 12 and younger

All camps meet from 10am to 3pm.
When is the tuition balance due?

Once you register your child you may make tuition payments at any time by calling the office at 803-728-3399. The tuition balance is due no later than May 31, 2020
What should I bring to camp?

Pack a lunch and two snacks - Your child may also eat at the local restaurants in Lake Carolina.

Friday is pizza day! We bring pizza in for the campers!

We will have water and juice boxes available as well
