Would you like to learn more about what mindfulness and meditation are all about? Have you shied away from meditation because you assumed you wouldn’t be good at it? Would you like to learn how to be more present and conscious in your day-to-day life? Has the stress of Covid-19 left you looking for techniques and tools to help take care of yourself? If so, please join Maggie Mae Anderson in this six week Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation course. This course is aimed at making meditation accessible to everyone and busting the myth that meditation is the ceasing of all thought.
Each week we will focus on a different aspect of mindfulness followed by a guided meditation and then a question and answer period ensuring that there is space to clarify what has just been presented and practiced. Maggie Mae creates a welcoming, friendly and warm environment making these techniques approachable and easy to explore. She has been studying with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach in their two year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program and is excited to share her learning and the ample benefits of mindfulness meditation with others. Please feel free to contact Maggie Mae if you have any questions prior to registering for this class at firstname.lastname@example.org. Six participates are require for this class to run so please sign up with a friend or family member and share the experience.
