This weekly online class series explores Pranayama, the science of utilizing the controlled breath to direct, harmonize, and energize life force called prana. We will begin with breath explorations to help release obstacles to the breath and introduce foundational pranayama techniques. Then we will build upon these principals and introduce more refined pranayamas. As the classes are progressive and sequential, the series must be taken as a whole and drop-ins are not available.
Props required: two blankets, one block, one belt, and a chair (without arms or wheels). A bolster and a sandbag are nice additions but not necessary.
A recording link will be sent to all registrants after each session so that you can make-up or review the class. Recordings are active for 5 days after the class.
