In this class we will see the difference between the 2 most popular styles:
Dominican Bachata: Originating from Dominican Republic, traditional or Dominican Bachata is a form of a lively dance style featuring fun, seductive, and easy to learn approach. Characteristics include intricate footwork, moving in shapes and playfulness.
Sensual Bachata:Today’s Bachata music has blended with other styles, that’s why the Bachata dance has evolved with the music trends to adapt to the fusion of rhythms. Sensual Bachata is a modern style that has captured immense popularity around the world. Characteristics include body waves, head rolls, and hip movement. The music is romantic, sensual and great fun to dance to. It was created in Cádiz by Korke and Judith.
