Fall is upon us and that means Vata is on the rise. Vata, as described in Ayurveda (yoga’s sister science,) is the energy of air and ether, which is in abundance during this season. You may have noticed feelings of spaciness, restlessness, anxiety or hyperactivity, and physical symptoms of irregular appetite, bloating, dry skin or crackly joints.
Even if you haven’t experienced these things, there’s still a need to bring balance to our overactive lifestyles this time of year. Join Rayneen for a special grounding practice with the intention of creating warmth, serenity and nourishment through a slow and steady flow, pranayama, kriya and meditation. Open to all levels.
