Looking to move forward in your Mat work practice? We’ll work together for 8 weeks to continue finessing the Intermediate exercises and moving into some of the Advanced Mat work to further challenge you in your practice.
Did you know that being able to practice your Mat Work on your own, was (is) considered the actual goal of the Method?... that the apparatus (Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair etc etc) were designed and developed by Mr. Pilates, to help his clients towards being able to achieve various Mat Work exercises?....
We'll work through any modifications that your body might benefit from, and also work on breakdowns of some of the exercises, and transitions to prepare you, strengthen you and challenge you for more to come.
The Intermediate level of Mat exercises is meaty! The Advanced level directly propels off of the Intermediate work.We'll sweat, laugh and dig into as much as we can within our 4 weeks.
You'll work deeper, get sweatier, and stand stronger and taller .... Join us weekly for 4 weeks.
NOTE: A Theraband (resistance band) and Magic Circle are required for this class. Very light handweights are also an asset (1 lb or 2lbs max) If you need to purchase, just let us know. We sell these at the boutique and can arrange for curb-side pickup during Covid restrictions.
