This class is intended to be a fun bonding time with your baby and a chance to socialize with other mammas. Sequences will focus on playful postures that incorporate gentle stretching and movement for mamma and are developmentally stimulating for baby, making space for lots of eye contact, silly faces, and giggles with baby. This class is best suited for babies 3-12 months of age. Baby should at least be able to hold his or her head up on their own but should not be so mobile that it becomes a major challenge to keep them on your mat. We will have bolsters in the studio, but if your baby is not yet sitting up you may want to bring a boppy-type pillow for support. Need a diaper change or feeding during class? No problem. This class is more about connecting with your baby than getting a workout, so baby needs come first. Dads are welcome too!
