Once you’ve established the foundations of your pole or aerial practice you can begin to explore your apparatus creatively. This class is dedicated to supporting students through the creative process from idea to performance. Students will choreograph their very own act over the length of the session, supported by an experienced instructor. Opportunities will be made available for Act Creation students to perform at studio showcases and coffee houses, should they wish to. These classes run as 8-Week sessions and cost the same as a curriculum class (can be paid for with the Curriculum Class purchase options or membership curriculum credits). These sessions are supplemental to the curriculum so while students will be supported in exploring creative variations of skills they’ve already learned, no new skills will be taught in these classes. Every student will work at their own level.
Participants in the Sept/Oct 2022 Pole Act Creation Class will be given the opportunity to perform at the Brass Butterflies 10th Anniversary Showcase on November 25, 2022 at the Conrad Centre for the Performing Arts.
