ENJOY THE DIVE IN
YIN yoga is a slow moving practice, made for every- and any body. It is considered a “passive” practice, in which postures are held for time to create applied stress to the joints. This results in strength and suppleness to the connective tissues (ligaments, tendons, fascia) around them. In holding for time, the mind becomes still, and the body finds peace. A consistent YIN practice will contribute to improved mobility (think hips and shoulders), longstanding joint health, restful sleeps, and alleviated lower back pain - even while sitting in south florida traffic :)
