Just Say “No” to Back Pain!
Saturdays throughout Sept + October beginning Sept 5th.
This unique workshop series is clinically proven to reduce pain and provide relief for the low back! This is a yoga workshop series but, Joseph Pilates himself studied a bit of yoga! You will recognize some of the Pilates techniques and series (like side lying) over our weeks together.
The Essential Low Back Program: Relieve Pain and Restore Health by Robin Rothenberg will be our outline for discovery. Robin comes from the viniyoga tradition, which is known by their yoga therapy techniques. She is also a local master teacher. Robin's book and audio CD is included in this series for your home practice and to have another tool in your toolbox to stay mobile and painfree.
For you anatomy nerds, explore a bit of the anatomy of the low back, core and breath as it relates to lower back pain. ALL students are welcome. Emily offers her unique voice in her experiences of Pilates as well as yoga.
