Level II-C registration allows you to attend all of our Level I and Level II classes every week.
NOTE: Except for Sunday, all Level II classes will be in person only.
Level II open to all who have previously completed one full term of Level I.

In Level II students focus on learning the 37 segments of the Tai Chi short form, while further developing the fundamental principles introduced in Level I. Awareness of internal energy, and the process of becoming more physically and psychologically grounded are emphasized at this level. Students are also introduced to two-person Tai Chi exercises called “sensing hands.”
Ongoing participation in Level I as you explore Level II will greatly enhance your experience of tai chi principles while learning the Tai Chi Short Form.

If you are a Level II student you will automatically be registered for Level I. No need to register separately.

In this ongoing class, students refine the details of the Tai Chi short form and explore practical and martial applications associated with the form. Advanced structural, breathing and visualization techniques for generating and moving internal energy, including sitting and standing qigong meditations, are introduced. The left side (or mirror image) of the entire solo form is also taught in this level.
Level III Classes meet at the following times:

Level I - Taoist
Qigong/Meditation
This
course emphasizes developing the mind-body connection and gently
opening the musculoskeletal and energy meridian systems. In
addition to a learning a simple Qigong calisthenics warm-up set,
students are taught three traditional Qigong forms and meditations:
Eight Pieces of Brocade, Six Healing Sounds, and the Inner Smile.
Basic breathing and self-massage healing techniques are introduced
in this class.
Level II - Taoist
Qigong/Meditation
In
this level, students are introduced to the basic alchemical
principles underlying Medical Qigong and Taoist Meditation, and how
to safely open and integrate specific energy centers and channels
of the body. Three traditional Qigong sets are taught: Ocean
Breathing, Marriage of Heaven and Earth, and Wuji Standing
Meditation.
