Yoga Buddies is a playful, connection-focused yoga class for kids grades K-3 and their favorite grown-up—parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, or caregiver.
Together, you’ll move through yoga poses, partner stretches, balance games, and gentle breathing. We’ll wrap things up with a short rest so everyone leaves feeling calm, connected, and proud.

Join Kristy as she hosts The Connection Circle – Deep Rest which will incorporate restorative yoga, yoga nidra meditation and sound bowls.
- Restorative yoga is a gentle, slow-paced practice designed for deep relaxation, stress reduction, and rejuvenation by holding supported poses for 5–10+ minutes.
- Deep rest Yoga Nidra, or “yogic sleep,” is a 15–45 minute guided, non-doing meditation practice that induces profound relaxation, activating the parasympathetic nervous system. Classes involve lying down, often with props, while a guide leads a body scan, breath awareness, and visualization to release tension.
- Deep Relaxation: Known as “rest medicine,” it is designed to trigger a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, often compared to 3–4 hours of sleep.
- Physical & Mental Health: It helps reduce anxiety, stress, and insomnia while lowering cortisol levels.
- Open to all levels.
