Deepen your relationship to nature and to your own self during this guided yoga + forest bathing event led by Carrie Johnson and Michael Stein-Ross.
During this 3 hour event, you will learn how to tap into your senses for a full body experience and you will also develop a deeper understanding of the five elements: air, fire, earth, water, and ether.
This event includes a slow nature hike (approx. 1 mile in length), standing yogic postures, meditation, and finishes with a tea ceremony and nutritious snacks.
About your guides:
Michael Stein-Ross is the founder of Cascadia Forest Therapy and is an experienced educator and certified ANFT guide. Carrie Johnson is a yoga instructor, biologist, and the owner of Aya Yoga Oasis.
Investment in self is $84 (early bird) or $89 after July 16th.
We will gather together on the Red Trail Trailhead at Cougar Mountain. More details are available in our event packet that is sent out about 1 week prior to the event. Join us for an evening of Rest, Relaxation & Healing
Denise Voll, L.Ac EAMP, will guide you through breathwork and sound into a deep meditative state (theta) so that your central nervous system can relax, leading to released physical tension and elevation in your mood.
A soundbath is a full-body experience where the participants are “bathed” in sound waves while lying comfortably on the mat. The sound waves are produced by various sources, including healing instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, percussion, chimes, rattles and tuning forks. Soundbaths are considered a healing modality that may reduce pain, elevate mood, relieve stress, and deepen the mind/body connection.
Investment is $35 per person and current Aya Members save 10%.
Cancellation policy: Refunds allowed, with a 15% service charge, up until 14 days prior to workshop. After that, no refunds or account credits allowed.

During our 6 week Kids Yoga Course we will become scientists of the self. We will study our relationship to others, ourselves, our bodies, our breath, our emotions, and practice our ability to focus and meditate. Each day will be filled with games, songs, stories, imaginative play, and activities that engage children and give them the big picture of what yoga is as well as the tools to feel calmer, happier, and more peaceful inside!
School age children (5-11) are welcome to attend without a guardian being present. Ages 3-4 require a guardian to attend with the child (at no extra cost).
Investment is $120 for the 6 week series for each child. We do have 2 spots available each session at a reduced rate of $80. Please email info@ayayogaoasis.com to ask about the availability of the reduced rate for the session you are interested in.
We suggest that children bring their own yoga mat but we do have yoga mats available to borrow.
Cancellation policy: Refunds allowed, with a 15% service charge, up until 14 days prior to workshop. After that, no refunds or account credits allowed.
