
Circular breathwork is a powerful tool used to oxygenate the
body, boost the immune system, relieve stress and anxiety, enrich
creativity, process emotions, connect to Spirit, and so much more.
Full. Free. Flow. This breath is practiced by taking big deep
breaths through the mouth in a circular fashion to dive deeper into
ourselves.
Misty will open the session with a short description of the
practice and then we will dive in. We will be breathing a little
over an hour and then we will enjoy some sound healing. After the
session, space will be held for everyone to begin to integrate
their experiences together.
We recommend you bring anything you need to be extra comfy while
lying in one place for a long period of time. The studio’s props
will be available to you, but if you have any sort of padding, a
yoga mat, or extra cushioning you’d like to use, please bring it.
Blankets, bolsters, a pillow, and eye masks are helpful too! Feel
free to bring a journal or anything else you need to process your
experience. Dress as comfy as you can in loose fitting
clothes.
We encourage you to eat light and clean throughout the day before
breathwork and try not to eat at least 1 hour before the practice.
Drink lots of water! Please come to the workshop sober and
unaltered from other substances.
***This practice is not recommended for those with high blood
pressure, cardiovascular disease, glaucoma, retina detachment,
seizures, severe mental illness or psychiatric symptoms,
osteoporosis, history of aneurysms, women who are pregnant, and
those who are on anti-depressant or anit-anxiety medicine. If you
fall into one of these categories, fee free to reach out to Misty
about how you might still be able to participate I the session with
some modifications.
