About your instructor:

Miranda Kittie was born a dancer with an innate passion to express herself through movement. As a cancer survivor she believes in the healing power of movement. Dance has helped Kittie learn her body over and over again learning many different styles including tap, jazz, ballet, Hawaiian dance, salsa, afrocuban, Cuban contemporary, heels, twerk, & more. Empowering her students is at the heart of Kittie's teaching philosophy, as she guides them to discover their own voices and embrace their individuality. Kittie believes in the liberation of both the body and mind from societal expectations and predetermined narratives. She encourages her students to build a mindful connection with their own bodies to create their own stories through their unique expressions, as she has done and continues to do on her own personal dance-life journey.
