Join us for gruvnYOGA’s first “Thought Circle”, a 2-hour gathering that mixes discussion exploring the big ideas presented in a recent book paired with what yoga might offer on the topic and the opportunity for snacks.
The first book up is “The Measure” by Nikki Erlick, a fascinating fiction book based on the concept that one day everyone over the age of 22 gets a string that tells them the length of their lives. What would you do? How would you react to those who chose differently? And how might some tidbits of yoga philosophy play into both decisions how we live with them?
Thought Circles are co-ed spaces to think and share and explore the many ways words can come off the page.
While reading the book is not required, this one is a fantastic audiobook if that is more your speed, and plenty of summaries abound in the world.
This time we’re asking each attendee to bring something they’ve made from a recipe they are willing to share (complete with the ‘measurements’ of course). Mocktails, savory snacks, and sweet treats are all welcome!
