GRAMMAR: Future tense, the hypothesis in the future, the imperative of pronominal verbs, the negative imperative, the verbs devoir, boire and falloir in the present, the cause, the goal, the present, depuis, the relative pronouns qui and que,

VOCABULARY: Nutrition, sports, health, personal commitment, the internet, the cardinal points, real estate, furniture, equipment, approval.

COMMUNICATION: Present a problem and give solutions, give an opinion, qualify an action, avoid repetition, give advise, give an opinion, express certainties.

GRAMMAR: The recent past, the cause, the consequence, the plural of -al words, Penser que / Trouver que + indicative verb, COD and COI pronouns, adverbs of manner in -ment, the imperative + pronoun complement.

VOCABULARY: Professional careers, hobbies, expressions, protection of the environment, animals, nature, attitude, work, tasks, outfits, behavior, legality, at work.

French Beginner 2. The SECOND segment of the comprehensive Beginner level five-course series designed for French beginners. 

An all-adults class.

Beginner 2 level description: This is the perfect course for individuals who have either completed our French Beginner 1 course or have some minimal experience with the French language. We'll help you build upon your existing knowledge and skills to further develop your French proficiency.

Here's an overview of the topics covered in Beginner 2:

COMMUNICATION: Introduce yourself: give a date, languages spoken, place of birth, where you live, ask for phone numbers. Order in a restaurant, ask questions, describe a city, tell the weather.

GRAMMAR: Prepositions (en, au, aux) + name of a country, verbs ending in -er in present, the possessive adjective in singular, appeler/s’appeler, prendre in the present tense, the indefinite and definite articles, est-ce que/qu’est-ce-que, the plural of nouns, faire in the present tense, the pronoun on.

VOCABULARY: Nationalities, numbers, at the restaurant, activities, the city, the weather.

GRAMMAR: The comparative, the superlative, the imperfect, the past tense, s’installer with the past, the timeline (avant de + infinitif; après + determinant + nom), the past tense and the imperfect, Il y a - pendant, Ce due… c’est / Ce qui… c’est.

VOCABULARY: Express appreciation, the street show, art, the madness, the biography, professional careers, change, hobbies.
