Instructors use various audio and visual elements that are complementary and inter-related so that the same vocabulary or element of grammar is practiced and reinforced in many different ways to create variety, encourage participation and avoid boredom.
High Intemediate 2 level description: A great course for students who are 11 to 14 years old and have completed level High Intermediate 1 or similar.
Here is a summary of what students will learn by the end of the High Intermediate 2 level:
COMMUNICATION: Express wishes and aspirations, present inspiring people or role models, explain methods or processes, express obligations, defend a cause, and give structured opinions during discussions or presentations.
VOCABULARY: Education and schooling, studies and professional skills, internships and part-time jobs, social engagement, humanitarian issues, discrimination, and music and cultural activism.
GRAMMAR: Formation and use of the conditional present, emphasis structures with qui, the present subjunctive, expressing necessity with the subjunctive, adjective placement and meaning, and expressing opposition.

9-12 YEARS - BEGINNER 1: The FIRST part of the three-long course long French Beginner sequence.

Instructors use various audio and visual elements that are complementary and inter-related so that the same vocabulary or element of grammar is practiced and reinforced in many different ways to create variety, encourage participation and avoid boredom.
Beginner level description: A great course for students who are 9 to 12 years old and have no or little language experience. Students will begin learning basic vocabulary and simple sentences to express personal information, where they live and people they know. Students will understand familiar words and basic phrases concerning themselves, their family and immediate concrete surroundings when others speak slowly and clearly.

COMMUNICATION: Narrate past events, talk about health and well-being, describe experiences and reactions, discuss environmental issues, express fears and concerns, and encourage others to take action.
VOCABULARY: Health professionals and medical situations, first aid and safety, science fiction, sustainable development, natural disasters, endangered species, and scientific progress.
GRAMMAR: The plus-que-parfait, review of past tenses, direct and indirect object pronouns, agreement of past participles with avoir, negation structures, restrictions, and expressing emotions with the subjunctive.
